Learn More About Me "Charlie Stitman"
To say I "like to stay busy" is the understatement of the century. I’m Charlie Stitman, and as my Ventures page might suggest, I get into a little bit of everything.
But I’m not just busy for the sake of it. My projects are driven by purpose and logic. That purpose crystallized for me in 2009, the year of my "villain origin story."
Like many, I experienced a catastrophic identity theft. An email account—a digital vault I trusted with years of memories—was breached, including my social media accounts. In an instant, they were all gone. Forever.
That kind of vulnerability changes you. For me, it sparked a mission.
My Introduction to Linux (and "Analysts")
On my quest to reclaim what was lost, I found something better: Linux.
But I didn't find it on my own. The door was opened for me by a young couple who wandered into my restaurant one afternoon in North Texas. We became friends, and as it turns out, they were "analysts" for a certain three-letter government agency (wink, wink).
They introduced me to a new world, teaching me penetration testing and the art of data recovery. They showed me how to understand and recover data from virtually any device.
More importantly, they instilled in me one critical, unbreakable rule: "Never abuse your skills."
That's an ethos I live by. I only work when paid, and I have rules I won't break. Trust is everything.
A New Environment
Armed with this new knowledge, I set out to build things that mattered. My journey from digital victim to digital architect has allowed me to accomplish three life-changing goals:
- Launch professional Data Protection Services.
- Build a Global News Platform from the ground up.
- Engineer my own independent, secure digital environments.
- Design my own elements and components.
What Drives Me:
After my recent battle with lung cancer, I vowed to never take life for granted again.
Life is too short to just do one thing forever. At least that's my opinion. With a new lease on life, I have decided to follow all my dreams and see through my ideas and inventions no matter what obstacles stand in my way. From a news platform that is NON PARTISAN, NON RELIGIOUS with a focus on logic in reporting and a commitment to the truth with every story to a successful food delivery platform that helps restaurants increase revenue and is committed to ensuring drivers are paid a livable wage.
